Water skis

Product description
Classic water skis for cottage-shore summer days – behind the boat opens a sport that has entertained Finns at docks for generations. Pair skis suit beginners: the wide base lifts the skier to the surface at moderate boat speed, and adjustable bindings fit different foot sizes, so the same skis serve the whole group. A beginner gets up from deep water with knees bent and lets the boat do the work – the first successful stand is the talk of the summer. Water skis are an easier start than wakeboarding but more exciting than kneeboarding – take all three for a cottage weekend and everyone finds their favourite from the dock. You need a boat, tow rope and life jacket.

Frequently asked questions
How fast does the boat need to go?
For an adult about 25–30 km/h, for a child less – speed is adjusted to the user's size and skill.
Is getting up on water skis difficult?
The first attempts take persistence – let the rope tighten, keep knees bent and let the boat lift you. Most people get up in 3–5 tries.
Are the skis suitable for children?
Thanks to adjustable bindings yes from school age up – children always need life jackets and adult supervision.
What else do I need?
Boat, tow rope and life jacket – ask about rope and jacket availability when booking.
