Timco construction dehumidifier (50 l/day)

Product description
Timco's 50-litre construction dehumidifier is a powerful moisture remover for renovation, post-water-damage recovery and drying basement spaces – sized for jobs where 20-litre home dehumidifiers aren't enough but the heaviest equipment would be overkill. The unit removes up to 50 litres of moisture per day and suits areas of about 100–180 m²: bathroom renovation concrete pours, drying for painting and plastering work, and effective drying of damp basements handled reliably. Condensate water is routed by hose to a floor drain, so the dehumidifier runs independently around the clock, and the hygrostat keeps humidity at the set level while saving energy. Thanks to wheels the unit moves easily from room to room. The affordable daily rate means a longer drying period won't break the budget.

Frequently asked questions
Which should I choose, 50 or 70 litre dehumidifier?
For sites under 180 m² and typical renovations 50 l is enough; for whole-house water damage or a large pour choose the 70 l model. See availability separately.
Does a dehumidifier speed up painting and plastering?
Yes, significantly – plaster and paint dry on schedule even in autumn humidity, and the renovation stays on time.
Can the unit be left running overnight?
Yes – the hygrostat controls operation and the hose drains water to the drain. The unit is designed for continuous use.
Does the unit need to be supervised during use?
No, but before leaving make sure the drain hose is properly connected and has not come loose when moving the unit or on site.
Where should the unit not be used?
Below +5 °C condensing dehumidifier performance drops sharply – for cold spaces ask for advice; heater and dehumidifier together may be the solution.
