How does Motion XT differ from the Force XT box?
Motion XT is Thule's premium series: SlideLock locking and a quieter profile – Force is a lighter basic version with the same mounts.
What should I do if the box is damaged?
Check externally that no parts or contents come loose while driving and contact us immediately. The renter is liable for damage to the box up to retail price unless you have purchased separate insurance (see additional services).
Can I install it myself?
PowerClick makes it easy, and we walk you through it at pickup – or we can install the full setup with our installation service.
Do boots and helmets fit alongside the skis?
Yes, in XL size there is room next to the skis for boot bags and helmets – pack heavy items in the centre over the rack bars.
Do I need to empty the box overnight in a hotel car park?
Valuables should be taken inside, but SlideLock locking and the key safety mechanism make the box a difficult target.
