Thule Motion 800 ski box
Product description
The Thule Motion 800 is a spacious 520-litre ski box designed to make the most of its footprint: the wide body fits a family's skis and soft bags, and the 45 cm height leaves room for boots too. The pre-installed Power-Click quick-mount system includes a torque indicator – the mount clicks when tightening is just right, so the box sits securely on the roof rack and first-timers can install it with confidence. Dual-Side opening and exterior handles make packing and lid handling easy from either side of the car. Skis up to 195 cm fit inside. A reliable basic choice for ski holidays and cottage trips – and the affordable daily rate makes renting smarter than storing your own box.

Frequently asked questions
How much gear fits in the box besides skis?
The 520 litres hold 3–4 pairs of skis and several soft bags – in practice, trunk-sized extra space on the roof.
Can I install it myself?
PowerClick makes it easy, and we walk you through it at pickup – or we can install the full setup with our installation service.
What should I do if the box is damaged?
Check externally that no parts or contents come loose while driving and contact us immediately. The renter is liable for damage to the box up to retail price unless you have purchased separate insurance (see additional services).
Will the box fit my car?
Yes, Power-Click fits almost all roof rack bars – tell us your car details and we'll confirm the full setup and provide a rack if needed.
How is the box locked?
Central locking secures the lid at all points with one key – the key only releases when locked, so the box won't accidentally stay open.
