Mirka Leros wall and ceiling sander

Product description
The Mirka Leros is an award-winning long-reach sander used by professionals for sanding walls and ceilings – it's one of the lightest in its class, and its 180-degree pivoting sanding head follows the surface so that sanding filler is done without burning your shoulders. The brushless motor and 225 mm sanding pad cover large surfaces quickly: the walls and ceiling of an entire room can be sanded to a paint-ready finish in hours. Low vibration and light pressure create a smooth finish without bumps, and the length of the handle reaches the ceiling of a normal-height room without scaffolding. Connect the machine to our M-class dust extractor, and the filler dust will be sucked directly through the net into the container – the room stays cleaner and the air you breathe stays purer. This is the savior of the most strenuous phase of renovation: sanding a filled wall by hand is a punishment, the Leros makes sanding easy.

Frequently asked questions
How quickly can a room's walls be sanded?
A typical bedroom with walls and ceiling is sanded in 1–2 hours – the same work by hand would take a day and your arms.
Do I need a vacuum with the machine?
Absolutely – a lot of plaster dust is produced and the motor will fail without dust extraction. Our Hilti M-class vacuum connects directly and starts with the machine.
What sanding consumables does the machine use?
225 mm sanding nets, typically K120–K180 for plaster. Nets are charged by use (see consumables).
Does the machine reach the ceiling without scaffolding?
Yes, in a normal-height (2.5–2.7 m) room the pole reaches the ceiling working from the floor. An extension pole is also available for about 40 cm extra reach.
How long does one disc last?
One disc sands about 30–60 m² (1–2 rooms). You don't need to know usage in advance – unused discs are refunded.
