Product description
The Makita UD2500 is a quiet 2,500 W branch chipper that turns garden brush piles into usable chips – branches disappear and valuable material for compost or mulch is created. The drum shredder pulls in branches up to 45 mm thick on its own and shreds them quietly: you can talk while chipping, and neighbours won't be disturbed either. The large feed chute accepts branched limbs too, and in a jam the reverse function frees the drum at the push of a button. Chips drop straight into a collection box that's easy to tip into compost or around plantings. After spring apple tree pruning or fence trimming, this saves trips to the waste skip – brush shrinks to a fraction of its volume.
