Hilti TE 1000 AVR Demolition Hammer

Product description
The Hilti TE 1000 AVR is a heavy-duty demolition hammer for breaking up floors: tiles, surface concrete, pours, and thresholds are removed with 26 joules of impact energy – that's nearly ten times that of a standard hammer drill. The ergonomic side handle also allows for occasional wall chiseling, so bathroom demolition jobs can be done with a single machine. Hilti's Active Vibration Reduction (AVR) in the subframe lowers vibration levels exceptionally low: your arms and shoulders can handle a full workday, and the permitted daily usage time is significantly longer than with a standard demolition hammer. You can attach a chisel in seconds without tools using the TE-S chuck – we rent flat and point chisels to go with the machine. The 12.5 kg weight lets gravity do the work on the floor without needing to support the machine. Demolition phase of a bathroom renovation, removing a tiled floor, or breaking up a concrete riser: this will get it done faster than you think.

Frequently Rented Together
Frequently asked questions
Is the power sufficient for demolishing a bathroom tiled floor?
Excellent – 26 J of impact energy removes tiles and surface pours quickly. A standard bathroom floor can be demolished in a few hours.
What chisels are available for the machine?
We rent TE-S mount flat chisels (for tiles, surfaces) and pointed chisels (for breaking concrete). Add them to the same reservation.
Can I break up concrete foundations with this device?
The TE 1000 is one of the most powerful mains-powered devices for demolition. With the right technique, larger structures can also be demolished.
How heavy is the machine to use?
For floor demolition, the machine's 12.5 kg weight does the work for you. AVR vibration reduction saves your hands, but still take breaks and wear hearing protection.
Can the machine be used for chiseling walls?
Occasionally, yes, with the side handle – however, for prolonged wall or ceiling chiseling, the machine is heavy, and you should inquire about lighter equipment for that purpose.
